Overjoyed and thankful for a successful outing, the Actors Guild of Nigeria Electoral Committee (AGNEC) Lagos State Chapter has congratulated the newly elected executives of the state while applauding the maturity of Mr. Emeka Rising Ibeh for stepping down for his opponent for the interest of the guild.
This was contained in a statement signed by Chief Remmy Ohanjianya (AGNEC Chairman), Tary West (AGNEC Secretary), Lara Akinsola (Member) and Ifeanyi Ezekwe (Member).
The statement said that the election which took place on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the Ojez Restaurant & Bar, Surulere, Lagos, was indeed peaceful, free and fair, with all six candidates, though unopposed, surmounting beyond the mandatory 2/3 votes.
“Mr. Emeka Rising Ibeh who honourably stepped down for his opponent, Moji Oyetayo (Mama Ajasco), promised to work with the executive whenever he is called upon. Mr. Ibeh, we applaud your maturity and enthusiasm for a better tomorrow; this is a step in the right direction.
We like to say a big thank you to the BOT Chairman, Prince Ifeanyi Dike for his magnanimity and wisdom and the National President, Mr. Emeka Rollas Ejezie for his overwhelming support.
