Singer and dancer, Ojefia Berry has beaten other housemates in the African Empire Reality TV Show to emerge winner of the second season which tagged: ‘The Gladiators’ edition, carting home a branded car and multi-million naira endorsement deal with Newscrypto.
The grand finale and award ceremony held at the Silverbird Galleria, Lagos offered a good platform for the unity and prosperity of African youths and creatives.
Following him closely in the race were, Young Gee (First Runner Up) and Boo Daddy (Second Runner Up). They beat the other last standing gladiators; Man Like Maye, Priscilla, Kossy, Blessed Bae, Obi Odogwu, Dozobwoi, 21st, Erika and Terry who were all honoured with certificates of participation.
The night of glamour drew the curtains of African Empire Reality Tv Show, a 30-day creative show for youths of African descent which housed 35 housemates from different parts of the continent in a mansion in Lagos.
The well attended event, also witnessed the presentation of African Youth Renaissance awards to deserving African youths, who have contributed to her development in diverse ways.
Notable amongst the recipients were Ara, Africa’s foremost female drummer and culture ambassador; Boomplay, Africa’s leading music streaming appl Newscrypto, foremost crypto academy and headline Sponsor of the show; Youth Ambassadors For The Free Movement Of Persons in Africa, an NGO that enjoys partnership with the African Union to lend their voice to the campaign for a Borderless Africa; comedian,compere and content creator, MC Mbakara, and youth development advocate, Star Guys amongst others.
Speaking on behalf of the headline sponsor, Newscrypto, the African Manager, Mr Godspower Effiong, reiterated their resolve to give backing to projects that continually engage African youths positively, understanding that the future of the continent rests with them.
