Multiple award winner, Florence Okonkwo has added another prestigious award to her collections. This time, her movie, Shot In the Dark won the Best Original Script at the British Film festival recently held at Leicester Square, London.

The elated titled celebrity woman of the tube popularly known as Queen of the Red Carpets couldn’t hide her excitement as she blurted; “I can’t keep calm. Congrats to all the cast and crews of the Shot in the Dark. We will not relent but continue to produce quality movies. This is to show that hard work pays.

Shot in the Dark also won Best Film Producer at the BEFFTA awards.

Okonkwo who is also a publisher and entrepreneur has made a mark in the movie and fashion industries especially in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

She began to explore the competitive and highly challenging movie industry where she played leading role in classy movies and acted as Producer/actress in some others, including, but not limited to Shameful Deceit; The Soul; 18 Carat Mama; Heartless Career; Broken Cross; Oga Detective; Return of the Don; The Baron; Love Conquer; Golden Love; Passport Sake; Top Range. Also some of the films she served as the executive producer/Producer are; This is not about You, The Passion and Temptations of Queen Cleopatra, Shot in the Dark , Royal Obsession, It happened to Me among others.
