African leading gospel record label EeZee Conceptz, has concluded plans to stage its maiden edition of a gospel musical talent show for Christian creatives in Nigeria.

The talent show, named, Gospel Groove Talent Quest (#GGTQ2023), is themed ‘It’s all about the gospel’ and would run through July and August 2023.

The visioner of the EeZee Conceptz, Mr. Ezekiel ThankGod, popularly known as EeZee Tee, said this talent show is designed to discover and empower young and growing Gospel Music Artists with the balance of ministry and industry principles (MINDUSTRY).

He said: “This initiative will give the desiring participants an opportunity for a journey to building a professional music career equipped with sound ministry values for the kingdom of God as a gospel music artiste.

“Our desire for this initiative is to create a global platform that will produce professionally resourceful Gospel Music Artiste with a burning passion for the work of kingdom expansion for Christ.”

Eezee Tee noted that participants will be judged according to talent, skill, and character and will be rewarded in line with their progress, in the key areas. This will bridge the gap of rivalry or competition that exists in the world of contests, where the winner gets all.

Addressing the emigration of gospel acts to the secular world, the project manager of the talent show, Ben Ogbeiwi, stated that the platform seeks to counter such occurrences.

”Hence, the project is developed for kingdom expansion so that participants will have no cause to deviate. When you come into this project, you will remain a Christian,” he said.

One of the facilitators, Ige Kachi, a voice coach, spoke on the expectations from the participants, said: “We want to see how well they can represent God. We want to also see humility and a hunger for knowledge.”

Re-echoing this point, an Ace Gospel Singer, Mike Abdul, said: “We expect excellence, we also want to see the zeal and have a visual-tactile sensation with each participant.”

The facilitators include renowned artists such as Minister Chidinma Ekile, Minister Judikay, Minister GUC, and Mrs. Dupe Ige Kachi. Other facilitators include Mr. Ben Ogbeiwi, Minister Mike Abdul, and Mr. EeZee Tee.
