Contrary to popular opinion that problems bedeviling the country have to do with corrupt politicians, insecurity, among others, the Deputy National Chairman , Diaspora Engagement, African Democratic Congress (ADC) Honourable Kenneth Gbandi has put the blame squarely on Nigerians he tagged-Complainants –in-chief.
He said: “The Problem with Nigeria is not the APC, PDP; Boko Haram or Fulani terrorist herdsmen or corrupt politicians alone, but all Nigerians both in the Diaspora and in Nigeria who are Complainants-in-Chief. They will not join the APC, they complained that the APC is filled with corrupt people; they will not join PDP, they will complain that PDP is clueless and incompetent; they will not join ADC as the next best alternative to rescue our country; they will complain that ADC do not enough finance to confront the APC and PDP. They will not speak out or join any democratic instrument to confront the national disgrace, they will tell you it will not change anything. However, they will clog our collective social media space with a thousand reasons why the country is not working. Nothing destroys a country as much as an irresponsible citizenry.”
He added that they will continue to appreciate few consistent and pragmatic Nigerians both at home and in the Diaspora who understand the danger of national silence while urging Nigerians to join the Mission to rescue the country.
