It is not often that you get to see uniformed personnel take up another avocation with the same zeal and passion for their vocation.
One can remember the likes of police officers such as the celebrated sprint runner, Sunday Bada, Gold medalist, Chioma Ajunwa and a few others who succeeded in other professions alongside their first calling.
One of such persons is Christian Odiase, a serving police officer who last Sunday gathered family, friends, associates to the official launch of his music semi EP with the title, ‘Samantha’ from the stable of Morning Side Entertainment.
In his remarks, the Group Executive Director, Morning Side Group, Mr. Shedrack who represented the company’s CEO, Mr. Alex Otti informed the gathering that the Group with vast interests in such businesses as broadcast, finance, construction, banking, insurance, artiste management and hospitality is poised to take Odiase to the zenith of his career.
He added that though the entertainment outfit is new but he is sure that they will take over the industry in a short time.
Fielding questions from the media, Odiase who began his music career from childhood as a member of the Anglican choir said that he will not quit music even after attaining age 80.
Odiase was however supported by other budding musicians who performed creditably well to the delight of the audience among whom was top actress, Ann Njemanze.
The EP is produced by Top Edge.
