Chris Hanen. Back in the days during one of my visits to the home of the Koleman Revolutionaire, Orits Williki, I met this promising man. We were to fix an appointment for a detailed interview which came to pass.
Thereafter and expectedly, his musical schedules became handy to me. For one thing, I saw him as big brother so talented, versatile and focused. Of course he carved a niche for himself by standing out with his brand of highlife music.
It’s just unfortunate that he operated in our type of environment where investors ‘ignorantly’ looked the wrong way. Otherwise this big brother was a ‘ready-made’ material that needed just the enabling powers.
All the same, Chris still struggled and attained a reasonable height in music. He remains a household name even in death.
Adieu, the Ozigizaga exponent.
