Though the supreme court judgement affirming chief Hope Uzodinma as governor of Imo State is still generating controversy and mixed feelings among Nigerians especially indigenes of Imo, one man who is still passionately showing solidarity to his principal is top comic actor, Charles Awurum.
Awurum who was the Special Adviser to former governor, Emeka Ihedioha on Entertainment matters in the state wrote a short but moving tribute to Ihedioha pledging his solidarity with him in or out of office.
Awurum writes: “My greatest achievement in life is working with his excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha. I will always be grateful to you. I will never forget this experience. You taught me a lot in this very short period. I pray to be by your side always. God bless you for the love you have for Imo state. Your 7 months achievement cannot be achieved in 8 years by those who planned this judicial coup, not against you but against the people of Imo. The good spirit of Imo people and their prayers will never depart from you. God almighty will continue to bless you and your lovely family. I am always here for you.” – Charles Awurum
