Headlines News Politics

Unlike the pittance promised returnees by the federal government from the crisis ridden South Africa occasioned by xenophobic attack on foreigners, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant for Ondo State, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye (Oba) has given the returnees something to smile about.

Assuring of helping them to fully integrate back into the country, Akingboye who together with the founder, Nigerian Lives Matter, Prince Debo Adesina received the first batch of the repatriated Nigerians from South Africa at the Murtala Mohammed Airport Lagos have already mapped out feasible ways of assisting the returnees especially those of Ondo State extraction.

Through his OBA Foundation, Akingboye in collaboration with ‘Nigerian Lives Matter’ is set to embark on a one month free training /skill acquisition, monthly allowance, free medical check-up, free one year accommodation for the 10 most outstanding returnees and all Ondo State Indigenes, among others.
