President, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Nigerian police for their prompt response over attack of an actor by armed men as he warned bullies to steer clear of his members as there would be consequences.

Rollas, who made the statement on his facebook page today with a photo of an injured head of the actor said: “Precisely on 1st July 2022 at about 2pm in Enugu State, some armed men attacked one of my members Mr Steve Eboh, aka Ajebo, who is also my SSA on Military and other Governmental Affairs.”

He therefore extended his appareciation to the  Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali for his prompt response on the matter, while sounding a note of warning that no actor under his watch would be humiliated.

He further stated: “We took the matter up with a petition to the IG of police and investigation commenced. I am happy to announce to Actors Guild, our friends and our supporters that four among the culprits were arrested last night. I want to thank the Inspector General of Police for this response.

“This is a note of warning to all bullies who derive pleasure using actors to catch cruise. Nollywood has done very well for Nigeria so Actors shouldn’t be objects of verbal or physical attacks. No member of Actors Guild of Nigeria deserves to be victimised, assaulted or intimidated by anybody born by a woman. Not under my watch.”
