Celebrated Queen of Red Carpets and actress, Queen Florence Okonkwo has added another feather to her numerous caps as she recently bagged the prestigious Nollywood Entertainment And Leadership Awards (NELAS) in London, UK.
Okonkwo who is a serial award winner is a recipient to various awards such Queen of Nollywood International, Best Producer of the Year UK, Best Film Producer of the Year 2021 and Top 10 Most Outstanding Women Producers (UK).
She is a force to reckon with in the movie industry as she has been churning out blockbuster flicks as actor/producer/executive producer in some cases. Her movies which features Hollywood stars include Shot in the Dark, This is not About You, The Passion and Temptations of Queen Cleopatra, Top Range, Royal Obsession, For the Love of Money among others.
One of her movies, Shot in the Dark has received lot of awards from the British Film Festival, ZAFAA, BEFTA and NELAS.
Okonkwo is also a titled and influential woman of substance is blessed with the Nollywood title; Ezenwanyi Eji Ejemba.
Founded by Ambassador Frank Ikegwonu, NELAS is an awarding body that recognizes outstanding personalities and leaders who have made invaluable contributions in their various fields of human endeavours. Though established in 2015, the awards held its first edition on December 9th 2017 at the 02 Arena in London.
